Nova Debnath

Personal Trainer

I am Nova. I am the fitness consultant at the Adelaide Club. My passion is to help individuals create beautiful movements, feel strength in the face of their physical demands, and mold into their best bodies.

I am raised in a small town Japan. I grew up as an arts and science kid. My fascination with human aesthetics and athletics all started from my niche hobby of pencil drawing meticulously anatomical drawings of action between classes and painting during my free time. I was inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo’s theory of proportion. I then recreated ideal movement patterns for human aesthetics and performance over ten years. I first worked with professional bodybuilders, creating a well-rounded physique, and then I learned the powers of rehabilitation from my therapeutic mentors at the University of Toronto. I enjoy working with everyday people and high-performance athletes who may need both. These days, barbells are my brushes, and food is my canvas for creating my vision. I have helped my clients achieve consistent results and motivation to continue their path.

Training Philosophy:

Every fitness journey is unique, and what keeps you motivated to exercise is personal. Exercise is art, science, medicine and play. My training philosophy is all about helping you find your unique path that gets you excited.
