CANDICE LEWIS

Personal Trainer & Medical Exercise Specialist

I am a Level 3 Personal Trainer who has been working with clients at the Adelaide Club for over 10 years. After graduating from Ryerson University, studying Nutrition and Food, I completed, with Honours, the Fitness and Lifestyle Management program at George Brown College.

I coach clients through personalized, strength-based programs, focusing primarily on weight-loss, improved posture, and self-confidence. With me, clients have attained weight-loss results of all sizes, with some achieving a weight-loss transformation of up to an astounding 65lbs. Just as exciting, improved posture for many of my clients means they no longer feel that day-to-day back pain or discomfort.

My years of experience and continuing education, have me crafting well-designed programs that show very thoughtful attention to detail in how an individual’s overall lifestyle will play a role in reaching their health and fitness goals. Today, I do strength training to keep up with my 3-year old daughter and to maintain the level of strength and flexibility needed to continue taking adult ballet classes at The National Ballet School.

With consistent workouts and tailored guidance, my clients become their healthiest and fittest versions of themselves. I look forward to helping many more people over the years to achieve the same, so they can keep up with their own children and families and can continue safely participating in enjoyed activities of varying intensities.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE SHE'S EVER RECEIVED:

"Cream always rises to the top...so do good leaders." - John Paul Warren

FAVOURITE WORKOUT SONG:

"I Need Your Love" - Calvin Harris

FAVOURITE CHEAT MEAL:

Everything in moderation. I have a sweet tooth, so I usually allow a little something sweet each day. 1 piece of dark chocolate (…maybe 2) and have it first thing in the morning so you have the rest of the day to burn it off.
