I personally believe that strength is the key to movement, which is the key to living a healthy active lifestyle. Not being active and becoming sedentary is one of the most detrimental things that we can do to our health; the stronger and more conditioned we are the better. Nowadays, we all end up having to spend too much time sitting down and not moving. By improving one's strength, we develop/improve one's movement skills allowing us to move often and effectively.
I have been in the fitness industry for the last 10 years, completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and my Master's of Exercise with a Specialization in Strength and Conditioning and have worked with a variety of clients from motor vehicle accidents to elite-level athletes.
