Having been involved in ballet from an early age, I came to appreciate the practice of graceful, balanced, and precise movement. I started being active and exploring a wide variety of sports and workouts, and studying the range of movement and skill required to excel in them.
I was drawn to Pilates as an exercise system because it lays the foundation for strength and balance. You will learn to recruit the deeper, initiating muscles we often neglect, and develop a deeper mind-body connection to utilize them in all other activities. While this is achieved through slow, conscious, and deliberate movements, with practiced activation their recruitment becomes automatic and transferable to any sport or activity.
My role is to guide you through a safe but challenging full body workout that strengthens and stretches your muscles, supports your posture, and leaves you feeling balanced throughout your everyday life.
