I’ve played hockey and baseball my entire life, but it wasn’t until I joined the Strength & Conditioning internship and played rugby at Queen’s University that I started to take my strength training seriously. In the S & C internship, I worked with several men’s and women’s varsity teams, ultimately working as the head S & C coach for the men’s rugby team.
I think that everybody should be able to achieve and maintain a solid foundation of strength and mobility throughout their lives. Therefore, my approach to fitness prioritizes basic and complex movement patterns performed in full ranges of motion. I strive to teach good habits with an emphasis on body control and correcting imbalances. Since everyone’s bodies and goals are different, I tailor my training and programming to match the individual.
