As a passionate and experienced athlete and strength and conditioning coach, I believe that proper training can be extremely transformative and beneficial to every individual. Sport is a passion – and it’s a huge part of who I am, but what I truly love is the process of getting better. I was fortunate to have played sports collegiately but it didn’t start with just being talented, it took leadership, honesty, responsibility, work ethic, and trust in those that were in positions to lead. I realized my passion for helping people push past their own limitations came in the form of coaching.
There are endless ways to attack fitness goals and a lot of them have to do with what those goals are but when it comes to my coaching philosophy, I believe that in order to prepare an athlete (everyone) for competition (or stresses of daily life), we want to train utilizing ground-based movement patterns, multi joint (compound) movements, and all three planes of movement.
