Becoming a wellness professional was a natural progression from a very active childhood. I am lucky to have had wellness, sport, activity, and movement ingrained as core values. After years of dance, gymnastics, soccer, and martial arts, I developed a passion for understanding the body that I relied on for all the things I wanted to do. It is my goal to pass that passion along to those I work with through education and dedication.
Our bodies should be exercised according to individual goals and capabilities and should provide a challenge both physically and mentally, connecting our busy minds to our physical bodies. Exercise and training should be an avenue to prepare, build and maintain a body that is capable of everything we want to do. Whether a person wants to play sports, perform at a high level athletically, recover from an operation, prepare for an event, increase bone density, or improve overall health and energy levels, exercise can be a way to improve quality of life if it is done right.
