PILATES GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
MAT ALL LEVELS Appropriate for those who are coming out of an Introductory Mat Course, or if you want a relaxed pace with lots of focus on the core.

REFORMER ALL LEVELS Come experience the full body challenge in this all levels reformer class. With an emphasis on proper alignment and efficient muscular recruitment, your body will thank you! Previous reformer experience is a must!

REFORMER LEVEL II A fun class that works the whole body. A fast-paced class that gives the abs a lot of attention while also focusing on a lot of spinal extension, rotation and side bending.

REFORMER LEVEL III This is a challenging class that teaches complex movement patterns and uses props to increase the difficulty (magic circles, foam rollers, balls, therabands, poles). Your abs will definitely feel it the next day. Be prepared to sweat!

1/2 MAT – 1/2 REFORMER LEVEL I This class is suitable for those entering the group class schedule from an Introductory Course, and combines the benefits of mat and reformer work with an emphasis on correct Pilates technique.

1/2 MAT – 1/2 REFORMER LEVELS II This class begins with 20 minutes on the foam roller to activate core muscles and challenge your balance, and progresses into intermediate level mat and reformer work with focus on core strength and muscle balancing. You will leave with a well-integrated sense of the whole body.

MAT/TOWER COMBO CLASS This class is appropriate for anyone with previous mat experience who would like to increase their challenge by starting to work on the equipment. The Tower work is similar to working on the Cadillac, and provides maximum support while learning to work with the springs.
All drop-in classes require participants to have a basic understanding of Pilates principals and techniques through either Introductory Mat & Reformer Courses, or Private Pilates sessions to teach appropriate modifications for your body.
Level III classes are not suitable for those with injuries or special needs.
